CAST REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 4-Jan-2007) I saw this film on TV many years ago.My mother was in it. She played a "BUMBOAT Girl. (Carmen De Antonio). Anyway, the film is about a supplyship filled with a bunch of real loosers and drunks. John Wane plays this really shy norwigion with a pet paret.the movie was made into a screenplay from a book.A long voyage home is part three of that book. I have also read the print version and the Film really does it justice. The film is in Black and White, but is very good and pretrays WW2 as it was (Acording to my dad who served in it. As I said, the film is really worth seeing.I just love the way Mom snuck the BOOS onboard that ship ! Well, I enjoyed it anyway.
