A New York City man grieving for his family's death on September 11 reignites a friendship with his old college roommate.

ABSTRACT
Charlie Fineman has lived a pitiable life since the attacks of September 11, 2001, plunged into an emotional abyss that saw him quit his job and retreat from the world around him following his family's demise. A chance encounter with old college roommate Alan Johnson, now a successful dentist struggling with the pressures of his career and home life, stands as his shot at possible salvation, as Alan begins to enjoy himself once more in Charlie's "adult-child" presence while helping his old friend pick up the pieces and move on through the power of their reignited bond.
