ABSTRACT Based on the film Wild Target (1993) by Pierre Salvadori. Victor Maynard, an assassin renowned for his prowess and cold, calculating mindset in his line of work, aspires to make a quiet exit from his career following a botched operation. When a would-be victim and physically-attractive woman named Rose catches his eye, however, he spares her instead of eliminating her, drawing him into the thick of a complicated affair with his now-unhappy boss that sees him setting out with new apprentice Tony in tow.
