REVIEWS Review by Betty Reid (posted on 25-Feb-2005) Classic 80's drivel and drive. Propagates 80's social notions of free love, no responsibility in sex, being in a band is a high value pastime, drug abuse is sad but tolerated because it's cute and funny until the user can't wake up, long-term relationships are not worth giving your "all" for, rich people dress stupid, have shallow parties and don't understand the word "no."
Only positive message was in the main character's decision to go to college instead of touring Europe with the band. Then again, maybe college was important because everyone needs to get their family values taken out of their brains by Communistic or Socialistic professors.
A good movie to use to gauge our social stage of development before HIV/AIDS/STS.
