CAST REVIEWS Review by Phil Carlson (posted on 26-Apr-2007) World War II Movie, Starring Jeffrey Hunter, Profiles the Life, in part of Mexican American, An East L.A. Born Soldier named Villasana? even though Jeffrey Hunter is Cast as an Italian American. His Heroics take place in and Around the Islands of Okinawa, Japan. His Heroics include 33 confirmed 33 Kills(enemy dead) and capture through Psychological Persuasion, He learned fluent Japanese Growing up in a Japanese Family whose Members were dispossed of their house and relocated during the duration of the War, and the Capture of nearly 1200 Japanese Soldiers, many of whom were injured and realized that they had been defeated. . .Yet despite his Heroics, many consider him the Greatest Humanitarian Infantry Soldier in the History of Modern American Warfare, He was never Awarded the Medal of Honor!! This is clearly a Disgrace both to The Military and to The People of America. Moreover, his Actual Persona has never really been fully developed except by a Few Newspaper Articles, such as the L.A. Times that featured him in the Obituaries many years Ago! Despite having had a Secretary of the Army of Latin Descent, His True Heroism has gone Unrecognized by America. Have search the BookShelves far and Wide and found no real Data Acknowledging This Soldier's Accomplishments! This can hardly be called trying to be Politically Correct!
