ABSTRACT
Jones, Derrick, and Travis, three college students working on a tough class project, decide to launch an academic social experiment to spread gossip about a classmate's supposed rape of a date to see how far it goes. The situation escalates well beyond anyone's control, of course, as the gossip catches fire when the man at the center of the rumors is arrested and a detective appears intent on getting down to the bottom of the case.
