Film adaptation of the video game of the same name follows a young prince and princess as they attempt to safeguard the existence of a time-bending super-weapon.

ABSTRACT
Dastan, a young prince and adopted son of King Sharaman in ancient Persia, is framed for the murder of his father by his adoptive uncle and forced to go on the run as an outlaw. Discovering that a dagger kept in his possession carries a supernatural ability to rewind time by a minute following a battle with the recently-escaped Princess Tamina, Dastan finds himself engaged in a struggle against various forces of evil to prevent the dagger's destruction and possible subsequent end of humanity, taking the young princess along with him for the high-stakes adventure.
