Fortune and Men's Eyes (15-Jun-1971)
Director: Harvey Hart Writer: John Herbert From a play: Fortune and Men's Eyes by John Herbert Keywords: Drama, Prison, Gay REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 14-Jan-2007) I saw this movie in 1971 when it came out. It really stuck with me because it was so different than anything that we were allowed to see in the theatres at that time. It was a movie that really put prison life in our faces. Our worst nightmare as to how life in prison was for prisoners. Not pretty but still you had to watch it. We lived in a world where alot of our movies were nice and this was anything but nice. I was surprised later to find out that the actor Sal Mineo was involved with this movie. Also I believe this movie had a connection to Canada in the making of it.
Do you know something we don't?
