The Hills Have Eyes (10-Mar-2006)
Director: Alexandre Aja Writers: Alexandre Aja; Grégory Levasseur Keywords: Horror Remake of the 1977 film of the same name follows a suburban family terrorized by a number of reclusive psychopaths.
ABSTRACT Remake of The Hills Have Eyes (1977). Ethel Carter, husband Bob, and children Brenda, Bobby, and Lynn (plus Lynn's husband and baby) are an archetypal suburban family on a road trip through the American Southwest, forced by unfortunate circumstance to take a detour along their way leading them into a dilapidated area once exploited by the federal government for the purposes of nuclear testing. The Carter family's car, predictably, breaks down in this dangerous zone, leaving them susceptible to terror wrought by reclusive mutant inhabitants of the radiation-impacted area isolated from the rest of civilization.
