CAST REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 3-Jul-2006) A grand old 1950's epic about the myth that
many thought was really Texas. Has all the braggadocio you would
expect, great acting (just look at the all-star cast listing, including
James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor, and Rock Hudson), and interesting
storylines, two of which are actually pivotal in real Texas history -
ranchers versus oil men and racial prejudice. Settle in for a long
evening with this movie and enjoy the tale of "the Riata" in the first
half of the 20th Century!
