REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 6-Sep-2006) This is an amazing film for a couple of reasons. The most amazing thing however, is how so many great actors could be in such a horrible film. What was Robert Duvall thinking? He must have owed someone a huge favor. What is also amazing is how easy it would have been for this film to address some important issues (drug use and the drug trade, third world poverty, US foreign policy) but it didn't. In fact it seems to avoid them on purpose. This could have been a great film; along the same lines of _Uncommon Valor_ or even _The Emerald Forest_ but instead it was a ridiculous 80's shoot em up designed to entertain teenage boys. _Let's Get Harry_ commits the greatest sin in filmmaking; It takes all of it's potential to be a great film, (actors, plot, deeper messages) and just throws them away in favor of stereotypical juvenile entertainment.
