Film adaptation of the comic strip of the same name follows a lasagna-eating cat as he sets out to rescue his owner's abducted dog.

ABSTRACT
Based on the comic strip Garfield by Jim Davis. Garfield is a pudgy, lasagna-loving tabby cat living a life of leisure with dopey owner Jon. Jon's decision to adopt an annoying dog, Odie, to impress sexy veterinarian Liz backfires when the pup is abducted after Garfield locks him outside, sending the sarcastic feline on a wild journey to find him and bring him home. A mildly amusing voice-acting turn from Bill Murray in the lead role cannot salvage this hairball of a family comedy.
