The 6th Day (28-Oct-2000)
Director: Roger Spottiswoode Writers: Cormac Wibberley; Marianne Wibberley Keywords: Sci-Fi, Action/Adventure, Clones A man's chance encounter with an exact clone of himself leads to his uncovering a conspiracy entailing clone-led world domination.
ABSTRACT Adam Gibson, a pilot charged with flying cloning company executive Michael Drucker out to a ski trip in a near-future world where human cloning is a process rather close to perfection, arrives home after the trip to find an exact clone of himself with his family. Befuddled as to how he could have been cloned even though he had to submit to blood and eye tests to "verify his aptitude" in the process of signing on as Drucker's pilot, Gibson is thrust into a rather frightening situation, uncovering a conspiracy to take over the world with clones that he must work to neutralize after he is attacked by agents of the Drucker-led company responsible for his surreptitious cloning.
