Rebecca Winstead nails it in the audition but is accidentally dismissed due to a misunderstanding, and leaves thinking she didn't get the part. Rebecca's stepfather sends her upstate to live with her Aunt Miranda at Sunnybrook Farm; by pure chance she encounters Kent and all seems well until her stepfather learns of Rebecca's new-found success in radio.
