CAST REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 22-Oct-2006) This wonderful old movie is one of my all-time favorites and I will watch it every chance I get when it comes up on TCM. Robert Young is also one of my all-time favorite actors. He was always a handsome man and a super actor. When I was little, I used to wish that he was my daddy everytime I watched "Father Knows Best". Margaret O'Brien could capture any mother or father's heart. The classic hard to solve problem of which child to choose when he could only take one child was finally solved when he was able to take both war orphan children home with him to the United States so he and his wife could adopt them. I would have loved to have seen a sequel made to this up-lifting war-time film. "Journey for Margaret" and "The Canterville Ghost", that feature both Robert Young and Margaret O'Brien, are two movies that I hope will be enjoyed for many, many more generations to come.
