REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 26-Jan-2007) After the very sudden demise of his father, vagabond and drunkard Peter Plunkett (played to the hilt by Peter O'Toole) finds himself Laird of Castle Plunkett, his ancestral home. With the Castle rapidly falling down around his ears and family funds nill, he must find a way to fend off an unscrupulous American who intends to foreclose on a mortgage on the Castle. During a fit of desperation, he hears his mother mention the ghosts in the Castle, and he hits on a plan - he will advertise the Castle as the "most haunted" in Ireland, and take in guests! So what if Castle Plunkett isn't really haunted? Peter and his employees will make it haunted!Enter the American tourists, with a cast including Steve Guttenberg, Beverly D'Angelo, Jennifer Tilly, and Connie Booth. But there is quite a surprise in store for everyone! Darryl Hannah and Liam Neeson also give great performances. This is a "must see" for anyone who is a Peter O'Toole fan, a fan of the ghost genre, or an "Erinophile". Plus great music!Enjoy!
