REVIEWS

Review by Anonymous (posted on 14-Aug-2007)

Being in the industry, I was attracted to the plot. The writers used all the buzz words and I just loved the use of the jet outing to pump the wallet surgeons. There were, however, a couple of holes in the setup. Number one, using a 50K to 100K predictive dialer for the number of salespeople present was not realistic for a 2.5 million raise. Dialers are not hardware that can be just plugged in. They also require extensive software packages. Number two, and more importantly, the one call close for 25K went the way of the buggy whip in the eighties with diamonds and rare coins. Today's mooch wants to see a package before he throws 25 large at anybody, especially an abusive voice on the phone. Nice try, but it doesn't measure up to the likes of a "Boiler room".
