CAST REVIEWS Review by Brian (posted on 18-Feb-2005) This movie is an upbeat and entertaining gem. It should be on DVD ..the color of it is outstanding. Gordon Macrae is as always, great to see and hear. June Haver is beautiful and dances her feet off with great results. Tis a simple story of an Irish family, with 3 daughters and a very strict irish father with a firey temper. It's heartwarming and sweet in all the right places. Look for a very young and cute Debbie Reynolds as one of the O'GRADY girls. A great old fashioned musical that you can enjoy many times over! Hopefully it will appear on DVD very soon!
Review by Pam (posted on 19-Mar-2005) I have loved "The Daughter of Rosie O'Grady" for many, many years. To this day, I would rather watch any Debbie Reynolds, Gene Kelly, Doris Day, or Gordon MacRae movie than anything made now.
I have been searching for this movie off and on forever. I had recorded it from tv on a VHS tape long ago and played it until it literally wore out.
I wish this movie and many more like it were released on VHS or DVD. I miss it, especially when it gets close to St. Patrick's Day.
