As such was thought to be completely impossible, it came as a complete surprise to everyone. Technical details accurately portrayed, filmed with real B-25 bombers. Story told from the viewpoint of pilot Ted Lawson, portions corny and melodramatic. Won an Oscar for Best Special Effects; received an additional nomination for Best Cinematography.
