REVIEWS

Review by EddyN (posted on 1-Sep-2005)

Streisand completed her first three films -- all Musical comedies -- firmly establishing her place as Hollywood's Queen, let down hair to play a dimwitted, street savvy New York hooker with an identity crisis and dreams of becomming a moviestar. Teamed with George Segal, a bookstore clerk and would-be novelist, the two set sparks flying doing justice to this very funny Buck Henry (Whats up, Doc?), script. The film has a nice pace, is filled with sight gags, interesting twists and has a happy ending. A must-see for all film students with an interest in comedy that breaks age and background borders.
