ABSTRACT
Down-in-the-dumps divorced man John's moribund social life is seemingly brought back from the brink in miraculous fashion when he meets single mother Molly and quickly forms a connection with her. Confused as to why Molly adamantly refuses to let their escalating spark progress beyond the confines of his house, John soon finds his answer in the existence of Cyrus, his love's 21-year old son and best friend whose vaguely Oedipal relationship with his mother presents a uniquely strange challenge for their prospects going forward.
