ABSTRACT
Nervous, shy, and introverted high school freshman Charlie's mundane life is taken for a spin when he is befriended by two seniors, Sam and Patrick. Invited to take part in a variety of eccentric social activities running the gamut from his first consumption of a pot brownie to reproductions of The Rocky Horror Show and romance with a domineering young woman, Charlie quickly learns firsthand the joys and pitfalls of existing as a teenager in the modern world.
