ABSTRACT Created by director and co-writer Stu Zicherman as a semi-autobiographical retelling of his own experiences as an "Adult Child of Divorce", A.C.O.D. follows ostensibly sound-of-mind adult male Carter as he learns of his unwitting past participation on a study about children of divorced parents. Forced to revisit the ordeal when he is asked to take part in a follow-up study, Carter must confront his upbringing just as his wayward younger brother initiates plans to get married.
