Set in 1920s Long Island, it is a story of aristocracy behaving badly, heavily relying on narration of Gatsby's neighbor, Nick Carraway. Follows the scenes of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, but the cast does not properly capture the characters they are intending to portray. Won Oscars for Best Costume Design and Best Score.
