REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 11-Jan-2007) This film ranks in my top 25 favorites of all time. Since I'm a film geek, this places it above God-only-knows how many thousands of movies in Erinland. If someone can help me purchase a copy on DVD or VHS, I promise to establish a new religious cult to worship him or her. So, let's see: How to write a review? Well, three cold, twisted freaks set off on a mission to kill everyone on a list supplied to them by their boss (actually, I think they're freelancers, so I suppose he's technically not their boss, but oh well). They rebel a bit against their instructions and show their humanity a bit right on cue, and wind up being even more delightfully twisted than you might have thought at the beginning. The low-to-mid-level sexiness pinballing within their relationship with each other is refreshing in a 1989 coke party sort of way, and the funny stuff might make you feel a bit guilty for laughing, which is always the best way to laugh. OK, that's all I'm going to write about this movie; I don't want to stick in any spoilers, after all. Plus I only saw it once, at a film festival in 2002, so I'm really only writing this so I can beg for someone to sell me a copy or help me find someone else who will. Oh - my 3 1/2 star rating isn't a 4 simply because even THE GODFATHER didn't rate that high in Erinland, though THE GODFATHER part 2 did.
Do you know something we don't?
