ABSTRACT
Eddie Murphy is Norbit, an unlucky fellow whose life spent at the bottom of the social totem pole resulted in his engagement to the oafish Rasputia (Murphy in a fatsuit). The surprise arrival of a childhood crush in town to buy the orphanage he grew up in drives Norbit into action, as he strives to win the heart of his true love while excising the massive Rasputia from his life.
