The Carey Treatment (29-Mar-1972)
Director: Blake Edwards Writer: James P. Bonner From novel: A Case of Need by Michael Crichton (as "Jeffery Hudson") Music: Roy Budd Producer: William Belasco Keywords: Mystery, Thriller, Abortion Newly appointed as a pathologist at a Boston hospital, Dr. Peter Carey is alerted to an emergency involving a 15-year-old's death from a botched illegal abortion. The girl's mother names Carey's colleague, Dr. David Tau, as the abortionist, but he finds this accusation difficult to believe.
