REVIEWS

Review by bruzzes (posted on 1-Oct-2005)

Cary Grant at his best...a suave smooth ladies man. In this movie Grant plays an angel sent down from heaven to solve the problems of a minister and his wife. David Niven plays the minister as... David Niven. Loretta Young is his lonely wife. The plot is simple. The minister is so intent on building a beautiful cathedral that he forgets the important people in his life. Mainly his wife. Cary Grant fills the void in the ministers wife and in a subtle way forces the minister to realize how far he has separated himself in their relationship and what is really important in his life.
