ABSTRACT Remake of Assault on Precinct 13 (1976). A bare-bones band of police officers and administrative employees work at Detroit's historic Precinct 13 on its last day of operation, tying up loose ends before the precinct is scheduled to close for good. Dastardly mobster Marion Bishop is brought into the precinct during a blizzard, much to the chagrin of on-duty sergeant Jake Roenick; when a group of crooked cops come calling intending to bump Bishop off before he can testify against them in court, Roenick must work to withstand an assault alongside inmates and coworkers.
