Two high school kids lose their girlfriends on the same day; they spend the remainder of it at the mall talking about comic books and how to get their girlfriends back. Jay and Silent Bob show up. Cultural references and potty humor abound in this disappointing sophomore effort by Kevin Smith. His intelligent and funny Clerks (1994) was produced on a budget of about $30,000. This effort, $6M, has so little to show for it.
