A pirate captain embarks on a humorous adventure to prove his worth as a budding Pirate of the Year.

ABSTRACT
Pirate Captain, an amateur desperately seeking a name for himself in his field of work, establishes a crew for the upcoming Pirate of the Year competition, seeking to win by plundering the most wealth. Finding themselves capturing Charles Darwin instead of the untold riches that would help them win their competition, they are successfully implored to enter their pet -- identified by Darwin as the last living dodo bird -- into the Scientist of the Year competition instead, and reroute their ship towards London, in spite of Queen Victoria's well-known distaste for pirates. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
