REVIEWS Review by Monika Witt (posted on 13-Oct-2005) As a custodial officer I saw this movie and woundered how the author could have known or depicted events that were so so true in the system as at of the 1980s. I saw the movie and many walked out of the movie due to the violents and the confunting reality. For me the movie was a revelation. I finaly found a person who new what I knew. People away from the coalface of corrections were making poor decisions. Puting the bad with the trouble was a receipe for disaster. Prison officers and inmates with mental disorders were victims of bueacratic idiots who were making unqualified, uniformed decisions, compounding the violence and corruption in the system.
