REVIEWS Review by Dr. Robert Howard (posted on 19-Aug-2007) With a cast of characters including Tony Randall, Janet Leigh, Jim Backus, Roddy McDowall, Ken Berry, Merv Griffin and Richard Drefuss this 1969 comedy film is not funny. It is basic non-comedy from the year in which Chappaquiddic, Woodstock and Charles Mansion became part of the American landscape. The premis is about a family living in an underwater home. It is a experimental home as this film should have been. It was reissued and retitled as "SUB-A-DUB-DUB". Director Jack Arnold must have been listening to the Beatles with the new title. (1969) C-98m.
