Please Don't Eat the Daisies (31-Mar-1960)
Director: Charles Walters Writer: Isobel Lennart Based on a book: Please Don't Eat the Daisies by Jean Kerr Music Score: David Rose Producer: Joe Pasternak Keywords: Comedy Larry McKay, drama professor and unsuccessful playwright, becomes a top theater critic. He and his wife Kay, plus their four sons and sheepdog move out of necessity to a large old house in the country, much in need of renovation. However with his new job Larry becomes somewhat intoxicated with his power, and he can't work in the new house with all the construction racket. Enjoyable domestic comedy in this adaptation of the novel by Jean Kerr, real-life wife of Walter Kerr, Herald Tribune theater critic.
