Film adaptation of the Jules Verne novel of the same name follows a volcanologist's discovery of an amazing world at the center of the Earth.

ABSTRACT
Volcanologist Trevor Anderson is visited by nephew Sean, son of a curious man named Max who'd died falling to his death attempting to escape a dinosaur; discovered amongst Max's possessions is a copy of Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth, annotated with original research. Trevor's investigation of activity at a dormant volcano in Iceland brings the pair to the European nation, utilizing a deceased Verne-loving volcanologist's daughter and Max's notes to set out on a fantastical journey to a wild realm at the center of the Earth.
