Afraid of the dark -- an environment in which the Boogeyman thrives -- to the point that he refuses to sleep with the lights turned off for fear of the monster's return, Tim visits his childhood psychiatrist when he has a panic attack after being asked to leave the safety of his home for Thanksgiving dinner at his girlfriend's parents' house; returning to his old home to spend the night at his psychiatrist's suggestion, Tim is placed at the mercy of the creature responsible for his Dad's demise years ago.
