Exit roads blocked by floods, eleven strangers become stranded during a rainstorm at a run-down Nevada motel; one is Malcolm Rivers, murderer on death row being transported for execution. One by one, the hotel guests are murdered, à la Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians (1965). Little is as it seems in this mystery-thriller.
