CAST REVIEWS Review by John the movie man (posted on 13-Aug-2007) This is a great movie. No sex, no flesh, no swearing--just a funny story, great dialogue, good acting, and a great chase scene at the end.
And of course, theirs Natalie Wood-Oh my god! she is so beautiful and sexy and Tony Curtis is handsome and very much her acting equal.
The supporting cast is wonderful with the fighting married couple-Henry Fonda/Lauren Bacall delivering their comedic lines adroitly. The whole story revolves around Curtis impersonating Fondas' charactor to Ms. Wood. He wants to find out if Ms. Brown(Wood) has had any sexual experience to back up her writing a book titled "Sex and the Single Girl"
There is also a funny scene where Curtis is seen wearing a very feminine robe and a apartment maintenence man says "Hello Mr. Lemmon" refering to Curtis' and Lemmons' performance in the classic 'Some Like It Hot' with Marilyn Monroe.
This kind of acting is nbot seen today. No mugging, just solid performances.
