An up-and-coming young journalist is forced out of his plum job when his history of plagiarism comes to light.

ABSTRACT
Stephen Glass, once a veritable "boy wonder" of a journalist, suffered a crushing end to his career as a staff writer for The New Republic when it was discovered that twenty-seven of his forty-one published articles were plagiarized. Shattered Glass follows Glass, master of deception and trickery obsessed with the idea of easy fame, as his habit of contriving sources and quotes eventually leads to his ignominious end.
