See also Kiss Kiss (Bang Bang) (2000). A thief passing himself off as an actor is invited to a screen test in Hollywood after unintentionally impressing producers with an outburst interpreted as method acting at an audition. When a bizarre murder mystery kicks off a series of events forcing the thief to cross paths with old childhood crush Harmony Lane and Perry van Shrike, a private investigator tasked with training him for his upcoming role, the unlikely trio must band together to work to determine the culprit responsible for the death of Harmony's sister, Jenna.
