"Agent 47", a genetically-engineered contract killer performing work for a group known only as "The Organization", finds himself ensnared in a political conspiracy so damaging it forces him on the run from Interpol and the Russian military. Trekking across eastern Europe, "Agent 47" must cope with a crisis of conscience and feelings towards a mysterious Russian woman -- emotions existing as unplanned "random equations" in his genetic code -- on his way to attempting to evade his capture.
