Fred Ward plays motorcross maverick Lyle Swann in this film co-written and produced by former Monkee Michael Nesmith. Accidentally sent back in time just over one hundred years without knowing it, Swann finds himself lost in Baja California. Encountering people who grow stranger and stranger to his 1980's sensabilities, he tries to figure out how to get back to the race course he believes to still be there. Mixing sci-fi, western, action, and a dash of romance makes this a film everyone can enjoy. Belinda Bauer is great as the lovely Clair, a woman with a past who knows her way around a six gun. After his motorcycle is stolen, Swann has to not only recover the bike but also rescue Clair, who finds herself at the mercy of a trio of outlaws played by Peter Coyote, Richard Masur, and Tracey Walter. Take my word for it, you will like this film a lot.
