ABSTRACT
Adaline Bowman, San Francisco resident aged 107, was rendered ageless by a freak car accident at twenty-nine; she has changed identities through the years for fear of becoming a public spectacle, her secret unknown to anyone but her elderly daughter. One day, Adaline catches the eye of handsome young inventor-turned-philanthropist Ellis Jones, ultimately forced to confront her past when the pair fall in love and she is introduced to his family.
