Hardy has the idea to use his Vermont country house as a vacation lodge open on holidays only. Good solid musical. Commercial broadcasters will tend to edit out the "Abraham" number, which features Crosby in blackface. Won Oscar for Best Original Song, "White Christmas"; received nominations for Best Score of a Musical and Best Original Story.
