REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 6-May-2005) As a person who watches
every disaster movie of any kind, and someone who watches everything
with John Schneider, I think that I'm a little biased. The content of
this film is very endepth of a normal family of this century. You have
the struggle with being a step-child and feeling as if you don't live
up to your new parent's standards. The struggle also comes from the
other end as well. You see Schneider's character attempting to over-do
the step-parenting by almost forcing his step-son to be what he had
been. Sometimes it takes a disaster for the family to understand their
feelings toward one another. The feeling that one or all of their loved
ones could've been killed by this disaster, shakes them into reality
and they begin to accept and appreciate each other for who they are on
the inside. The effects of this tornado were realistic, nothing was too
far fetched, and I like that reality-based movies. It was touching and
upbeat from the very beginning and I would recommend it to anyone who
likes to feel with their movie characters.
