Director: Barry W. Blaustein Writer: Ricky Blitt Keywords: Sports Comedy, Olympics, Retards A man desperately seeking a reprieve from a bad debt chooses to pose as a contestant in the Special Olympics.
ABSTRACT Steve Barker, a young man charged with firing friend Stavi after receiving a promotion at his job, hires his pal to perform tasks around his apartment. When the health insurance-less Stavi loses three fingers in a lawnmower accident and faces a $28,000 bill as a result, Steve's uncle Gary convinces his nephew to take part in a scheme to masquerade as a high-functioning man with learning disabilities named "Jeffy Dahmor" for the purposes of participating in a track-and-field event at the Special Olympics, working to win $100,000 on a bet that would clear both Gary's $40,000 gambling debt and Stavi's medical bills.
