REVIEWS Review by Anna (posted on 2-Jan-2008) Candace Cameron plays 16-year-old Stacy Collins who falls madly in love with the hottest boy in school, Bobby Tennison (played by Fred Savage). She thinks her life is perfect so far, except for the fact that her mother is in an abusive relationship. She eventually advises her mother to end her relationship. Her mother takes her advice and gets out of it. Everything seems perfect, until one day Bobby calls her a slut. She is hurt, and follows after him, begging for his forgiveness. He gets so angry with her that he grabs her and pushes her into a wall. His wrestling coach sees her on the floor crying and asks what happened. Bobby lies and says that she fell down. She covers for him too. He then apologizes and tells her he loves her. This continues to happen over and over again. Bobby is getting more and more aggressive because his father left his family. Her friends start seeing her telltale bruises and advise her to end it. She tries to, and always ends up taking him back. One night, she ends it for good. She tells him she wants to stay friends, though, so one night he invites her over to his house to give him a haircut. They get into a fight and he slaps her. She tries to leave, and he offers to take her home. He drives her to a field, and tells her to get out of the car and to "just trust him." He takes her to a nearby lake, and tries to kiss her. She tells him no, and he keeps getting more and more aggressive. He pulls out a knife and threatens to slit her throat. Within minutes she is dead. He wraps the body up, puts it in a canoe, ties a heavy cenderblock to it to weigh it down, and sets it out to sink in the lake. Everybody is aware when she goes missing, and a few days later her dead body is found. Bobby is sentenced to jail. This movie was the best drama I have seen in a long time!
Review by anonymous (posted on 20-Sep-2006) No One Would Tell {may 6,1996}is one of the best True Life movies I have ever seen. Candace Cameron Bure plays the stories leading actress who, in this movie is 16 year-old Stacy Collins { who portrays true life murder victim 14 year-old Amy C., from Beverly, Mass. } Stacy is wanting a love so real , that she allows herself to be abused for the sake of " someone who truly loves her and completely understands her like no other. "Yet, this is the very thing she desperately wants her mother away from { abuse/unhealthy/unstable relationships } Fred Savage is Bobby Tennison, who in this movie portrays Jamie Fuller , age 17 / Senior in High School.. Fuller was convicted of taking the life of his girlfriend Amy C., on August 23, 1991.Savage really grasps this role well and becomes this psychologically unstable, jealous, enraged young man , who is every bit as described, an abuser who soon becomes a murderer. Both Cameron and Savage reel you in and capture your attention in its entirety, as well as hit a home run on the message they were sending {to anyone , everyone, abused or not , or those who may someday find themselves in such a situation }1 hit should be the last hit. Tell someone. Your life, or a loved ones life, could very well depend on it. This movie is a very sad, heartwrenching drama that makes you never forget what happened or could happen. I saw this movie several times, and yet, it wasnt enough. I finally tracked down the dvd thru Amazon.com and recieved it in a days time. This movie you must see. Show your teenagers, if you have any. Or, any that you may know. You will not regret or be bored with " No One Would Tell " ( 1996 ) Tonya J. Sample {age 32} Mother of 3
Review by April (posted on 9-Mar-2005) This is a great chick flick. Candace Cameron plays the part of a 16-year-old girl who begins dating a high school big jock Bobby (Fred Savage). Bobby eventually starts to control Candace's character and then turns towards abuse. The abuse gets out of hand when Candace's character turns up missing only to be found dead later. This story is based on the true story of Jamie Fuller killing his girlfriend Amy C. in Beverly, Mass. Great movie, but sad plot.
