ABSTRACT
A small wooden box gifted by a stranger identifying himself as "Arlington Steward" arrives on married couple Arthur and Norma Lewis' doorstep one day in 1976, offering one million dollars to be handed out in exchange for the simple press of a button. The catch: the button's pressing will lead to the death of a random victim somewhere on the planet. Now, our couple, eager to live a comfortable lifestyle with their child, must make a decision with far-reaching consequences for themselves in this modern twist on an age-old moral parable.
