CAST REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 2-Jan-2007) Although it is a light hearted movie, there is a serious issue in the background of war orphans in Paris. Bing is a reporter who went to Paris right after WWII to do a postwar story and stayed for 3 years. His girl back home decided not to wait. The light hearted part comes with trying to win her back. Enjoyed Franchet Tone and Alexis Smith as well as Bing and Jane Wyman and their performances.Being a child of the fifties, I also enjoyed seeing a television actress whom I had seen in many TV shows and admired for her acting: Beverly Washburn. Good story, but not quite believable.
