ABSTRACT
Lucia, an attractive young Madrid waitress, moves to a secluded Mediterranean island after long-term writer boyfriend Lorenzo commits suicide. Thus begins a story of sexual self-discovery, depression, and heartbreak, told through flashbacks and scenes in the present day examining the encounters and indiscretions of Lucia, Lorenzo, and several other characters.
